PROVENANCE
Collection of Hudson's Bay Company, Canada

Tartan wool blazer, single breasted with two button closure, single vent and slashed pockets. With HBC tag in the inside pocket. Personal jacket donated by Quintin Finlay, a long-time HBC associate and executive (blanket division). Only a few dozen of the men's blazers were made at the time when they launched a woman's line in the tartan. The men's were sold mainly to staff and senior executives, circa 1980s.
