An exceptional Kwakiutl chief’s chest showcasing bold, carved imagery. The front features a prominent central grizzly bear flanked by eagle heads, while the sides display individual elements—eyes, limbs, and ears—rendered in a stylized manner. The back is adorned with a framed rectangular motif, accented by finely executed adze marks that contribute to the overall design.
