A gift to the present Private Collection, Vancouver


This painting depicts the first prospector's cabin, locally known as "Grum Cabin" in Faro, Yukon. John Bruk, the director of the Cyprus Anvil Mining Company which ran the world's largest open-pit lead-zinc and silver mine in Faro, purchased this work from Ted Harrison. It was given as a gift to the present owner upon their retirement as general manager from the company.
