"In 1971 Ondaatje began to experiment with photolithography in the production of prints drawn form her Factpry series. The photolithographic prints were produced by Herzog Somerville in Toronto but Ondaatje later applied a secondary serigraph overlay to the lithographs at Coach House Press, again experimenting with the application of handmade colours and pigments."
