The panels were probably a pair of throne cushions, each with four sections including a pair of longevity cranes flanking a sacred mountain, a four-clawed gold-threaded dragon soaring over the ocean, a roundel consisting of ruyi fungus heads, and two heavenly horses flying towards a temple, the entire scene interspersed with bats and ruyi-form clouds, and framed by a border of archaistic dragons.
